What we collect
- Enquiry details: your name, email, phone number, location and the content of your message.
- Referral details: information about the person needing support, including health and care needs. This is special category data and is handled with additional care.
- Job applications: your contact details, employment history, CV, right-to-work status and the answers you give on the application form.
- Technical data: your IP address and submission timestamp, recorded for security and anti-spam purposes.
Why we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, assess a referral and arrange care, or to consider your job application. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Our lawful basis
Depending on the situation we rely on your consent, on the performance of a contract, on our legitimate interests in running a care service, and — for health-related information — on the provision of health and social care under Article 9(2)(h) of the UK GDPR.
Who we share it with
We may share information with local authorities, NHS bodies, GPs and other professionals directly involved in someone's care, and with our IT and email hosting providers. We share information with regulators or the police where we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
General enquiries are kept for up to 12 months. Unsuccessful job applications are kept for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Care records are retained in line with statutory health and social care retention requirements.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email office@topclasscare.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
